Amalie White is a creative director and stage designer, creating bold, memorable worlds across fashion, music, theatre, and opera. 

Her practice is grounded in spatial storytelling, guided by a strong architectural sensibility. Collaborating closely with artists and creative teams, Amalie develops each project’s visual identity through dialogue — translating ideas into a cohesive spatial language that connects performance, sculpture, light, and image-making. Her work extends beyond physical staging to include camera direction and visual composition, with careful attention to how space is framed and experienced by both artist and audience. 

Trained in Architecture at the Royal College of Art and The Bartlett School of Architecture, Amalie began her career as a designer at Stufish, later becoming design director at Es Devlin and then Bureau Betak, before founding her own design studio in Paris.
